Saara Chaudry

“Hey, it’s Saara Chaudry from Toronto. On September 10th I’m going to be filming my day, and I encourage you to film yours too!”

Saara Chaudry is a Canadian actor, dancer and singer. Saara made her theatre debut as Little Cosette in the 25th anniversary Mirvish Production of Les Miserables at the Princess of Wales theatre. She had the honour of performing the role on opening night and at a special gala benefit with Colm Wilkinson. She won a 2014 Broadway World Award for best female performer in a featured role, was nominated for a Young Artists Award for best theatre performance and was also nominated for a Dora Award as part of the Les Miserables ensemble.

After her theatre run, Saara returned to television where she played the role of smart and funny Howie in Max & Shred, and guest starred on Odd Squad. Saara is currently in production on Dino Dana, a new television series where she plays the role of Saara, Dana’s older sister. Saara has also worked on several animated projects and is thrilled to be the voice of Parvana in the upcoming feature film written by her favourite author and produced by Angelina Jolie, The Breadwinner.

When not filming, Saara enjoys going to school, hanging out with her family and friends, and cooking.
